Wigton A won the Cumbria Squash First Division this year, pipping Carlisle A by 13 points. In the second division, Wigton B were also victorious, remaining undefeated in the league all season.
In the cup finals held at Carlisle on Friday 22nd March, Wigton A played Carlisle C in the A cup final, going down to a 4-1 defeat. But Wigton B were able to beat a strong Kendal B team, to claim the league and cup double.
