Senior County Championships 2017: Results

Paul Bell, representing Carlisle Squash Club, picked up his 10th county championship title at the 2017 tournament.

In Sunday night’s final Paul beat Whitehaven’s Michel Lowrey to win Cumbria’s top honour.

It was double delight for the Bell family as Paul’s sister Victoria came away with the women’s championship beating promising Carlisle youngster Eve Driver.

In total there were 36 entries with players divided up in A, B, C and D grades ensuring everyone had competitive games. Players from Carlisle, Wigton, Penrith, Windscale and Whitehaven competed.
